Man, Spanky beat Butch's ass. Great child actors. Didn't know that was Alfalfa's last name, though. Never occurred to me that part of the reason they'd be such a diverse group of kids would be because the white kids are second generation immigrants.

I don't know where folks are getting Prohibition era. Just sounds like High School Musical bullshyt to me. Like, the kind of stuff anybody makes up when they're by themselves singing in the shower or the mirror or while making a sandwich. Makonnen just recorded his and got a Drake/Miley co-sign. But it's no different from the millions of songs sung every day by people with not a lot of talent but a lot of heart.
It's pedestrian. It's amateur Youtube music for the amateur Youtube generation. Same people giving millions of views to some kid in Sweden talking about not being able to keep his cowlick down for 10 minutes, just because the boy has a cute accent. I can see how they'd identify with Makonnen, because he is them.
