But at my job program for minorities no one had that look when I said my race is black and my ethnicity is African American

My point is a lot of people don't separated the two terms.

There's not a option on the census that I can check Black for race and AA for ethnicity.

While you view the term that way(in which I have no issues with) the normal belief if your AA you black, that's all I'm saying.

Obama is said to mixed - not black - and he's sitting at 50% African. What's Michelle's percentage. Let's say 80%. So his kids are 65% So is Michelle the only one black in that family?
