I know a chick who has a bruise on her face every few weeks who swears her husband isn't putting hands on her. It happens so much people just ignore it.

Yeah this girl needs counseling for lying just like this baby momma. Lying to protect an abuser.

And watch this boxer “who was lied on” take her back. What man, who is innocent of domestic violence; gets counseling with the person who lied on them?

I bet he won’t file a defamation lawsuit.

Ok not to sidetrack the thread but why is it hilarious on multiple levels:jbhmm:
Let me try to give you some idea. It is very footycentric, but I'll put in some analogies.

So the player on the field is Mario Balotelli. Mario is a very volatile and divisive individual in the world of football. He has always been an unpredictable powder keg. BUT he is extremely talented. Mario is one of those players that falls in the category of world beating potential but could not screw his head on right. Think of somebody like Dwight Howard or OJ Mayo. Very talented, had all the tools to be dominant but was not all there. Not on the reckless baby mama tip like Howard, but behavioral issues. Search Mario Balotelli controversies or antics on google and you will get a list and numerous stories.

This is not to say Mario was not successful, he was. Won numerous trophies even though he had these behavioral issues. But to understand the layers. of the gif you need to at least have an idea of how Mario developed these behavioral issues.......See Mario is Italian..... his parents are originally from Ghana and emigrated to Italy. In Italy they were so poor that they had to out Mario and his bro up for adoption. They were adopted by an Italian family. I'm not sure how wide your world view is, but Italy like most European nations do have a racial issues. So Mario had to put up with throuout his childhood copious levels of abuse being a "black italian" and many italians having a warped definition of what that means. This is important in the story of Mario. It definitely shaped him, now the irony is that he was almost a national hero for a bit of time. He scored some game winning goals that helped Italy get far in internatiinal tournaments. There is plenty more to the story of Mario Balotelli and worth reading up on the complex man.

Moving along we have the black coach, Clarence Seedorf. Highly successful player in his time. One of the most decorated in world football. Polar opposite of Mario in terms of behavior. The consummate professional. Nothing can ever be said bad about Seedorf, that is how lauded he is. The team Seedorf is coaching in this clip is AC Milan of Italy, an old team of Seedorf. AC Milan is a storied sports team, they are in that Yankee-esk tier of sports teams. At the time they were goimg through a crisis period. AC Milan turned to Clarence Seedorf a legend of the club. Now before AC Milan turned to Seedorf he was actually still playing professionally at a high level. But Milan were so eager to bring him in they convinced him to retire to take on the role. To instill the culture of winning back. Currently there are very few black coaches in the top tiers of european football, you could probably count them on one hand, two if you are lucky. Now AC Milan is in the top of this tier of top tier, so it was a big deal for US as a people and black football fans to see Seedorf get this job. He knew the importance of it that is why he retired to take on the job.

AC Milan is in Italy, remeber the embedded racism. So from the jump "we" knew that Seedorf was gonna be on a tighter leash than the average coach would get. A regular coach would be given six months, Seedorf would ne expected to work miracles and make serious change in 3. Of course this was not really stated in contractual terms. He was given a two year contract, but we know what it is. It's the same way we collectively hold our breath and cheer for all black coaches in the pro leagues in the states, we know there is no margin for mistakes allowed.

So by the time Mario had arrived at AC Milan he was on the downward trend of the prodigious but flawed talent, teams were still willing to fork out money on him on the off case that they are the ones to "unlock" him.

Well come to this match now. Seedorf had just been given the keys, so eyes were on him to see if this black man had the know how to be able to handle the big time. So what happens? Mario comes up clutch and scores the winning goal to give Seedorf a good start. Overall for the half season Seedorf was there he got the team to improve and move in the right direction. But of course the club execs wanted Seedorf to make wine from water which was impossible with the team he had.

So that moment of Balotelli scoring the winning goal and the brotherly salutation letting Seedorf know "I got your back dawg" was funny but touching. Because Balotelli, Seedorf, and anybody black knowing the underlying layers of tension and their football histories knew what the deal was. But cacs wouldn't pick up on all that.

She'd probably get beat WORSE if his career tanked because of the first beating. If you're willing to fukk up your money for the "satisfaction" of beating up a woman you're not emotionally stable nor intelligent. So just imagine when the guy literally has nothing to lose.

I knew it was Balotelli, but I didn't know the history of that moment. We have to go through it all around the world, but we were built for the fight. Thanks for the break down. :salute:
