I can't trust them breh. When they have a black President, that's when I'll consider it.
The president of Germany is a mere figure head with general ceremonial duties. Their leader is the German Chancellor. Is that what you meant? Black People only .5% of the German population. Surely you understand why a Black political leader is statistically improbable.

"British Africans" influence Germany? E-grow what?

And I said that? I stated "......these successes are predicated on novelty and stereotypes.
Given their exposure and dominance in pop culture, American then British Africans lead the ratings" You think Football, Actors and Musicians don't help Germans perceptions of Black British people?

Yes. I think it does not.

Black Brits are a largely an unknown quantity in Germany and even with those that are aware of the presence of some UK brehs assume that they are immigrants to the UK much in the same way that black immigrants are in Germany. I.e. recent arrivals, largely shut out of normal society, Africans and mostly asylum seekers or economic migrants from poorer parts of the world. Most of them do not even know that almost 45% (and historically the majority) of UK brehs are from the Americas (the Caribbean). Almost to a man they do not know about the Commonwealth and that relationship historically in that all Commonwealth citizens were British citizens. They do not know of the black presence in Liverpool for more than a century. They do not know that countries like Barbados, Trinidad are not "3rd world". In fact it's rare to even find a German who can name a Caribbean country outside of Dom Rep and Jamaica. And in the case of the few high profile cases of black Brit stars that they actually are aware of they mostly are (partially in some cases) from Africa.

Name one Caribbean British breh with a major cultural footprint in Germany. It's Caribbean Brits which dominated and dominated the UK cultural footprint and have done so for decades. African brehs started building numbers 15 - 20 years ago and are still lack the cultural totems. Loose Ends, @Billy Ocean, Eddie Grant, UB40 members, Selector members, Madness Members, Aswad, Imagination, Lynx / David Grant, Jackie Graham, Maxi Priest, Soul to Soul, Crazy Spice, Sugarbabes, Misteeq, Omar ... I could go on. Same with sport - Viv Anderson, John Barnes, Paul Parker, Paul Ince, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Herol Graham, Michael Watson, Nigel Benn, Lennox Lewis, Lewis Hamilton.. I could go on. Politics: Bernie Grant, John Taylor, Diane Abbott, David Lammy i could go on...

Stop talking about things you have no idea about. Your typical German would see all of the above as recent African economic immigrants to the UK doing sport or music eaeking out a living in the corner. They do not see them as an integral part of the UK (like AA's are in the USA). People like Valerie Amos, Baroness Amos - Wikipedia are unimaginable. This last bunch of cabinet members might have some influence but it is early days yet.

A lot of Germans don't even know that there are millions of brehs in the UK and that cities like London and Birmingham are mixed to the extent they are. If you are black and educated and clearly not poor they will assume that you are American. If they are less exposed they will assume that you are an African with money. A sizeable number don't differentiate.

Where is the African-British page like this ? Caribbean music in the United Kingdom - Wikipedia - "People of African descent from the Caribbean have made significant contributions to British Black music for many generations.". The symbiosis between the UK and its colonies over centuries is again something that your average German knows nothing about.

And then on top of all of that German culture is not heavily influenced by Black British culture. In the NW / Central and N Germany they are influenced by Prussian + British norms - but not so much the British part. In the South they are heavily influenced by American culture. In the East by Russian. These foreign influences courtesy of what happened after WWII.

I've lived in Costa Rica and in the U.S and i mean lived not traveled, and i can tell ya that Costa Ricans will definitely feel bad and denounce the murders that are happening in the states, however ism is just as prevalent as in the states.

You are still looked as a criminal, rap and reggae stereotypes ,the crossing the street, cluthing bags, sexual stereotypes, not too many in places of power, job discrimination, the black area of the country is neglected just like in the U.S, they view us as lazy, and claim that we are more racist than them because of the name calling:mjlol: basically is like listening to a U.S cac but they say it in Spanish. The few successful and popular blacks have come out and talked about the ism but just like american cacs they deny it, u guys know the drill. soccer stadiums making racist noises and chants and other stuff, god forbid u going into certain cities where few or any black folks live:picard: the vibes are sundown town like, the slave history etc..........their history is just as ugly, they even had laws were black could not go into the capital to live or work:francis:

Same with other Latin American countries, it aint pretty, the only reason why some of these Latin american countries aint as violent as the U.S is due to our numbers been real low, if it were closer to the states or Brazil , good lord:francis:

so am sure the Germans are liberal cool and all that bu just like U.S liberals they are talk and when the push comes to shove u still black to them, they may be nice allies to have but am sure their are not our friends

:ufdup:People in this thread are still not listening.

2009:

"Terrifying: Around one in seven young people in Germany is very xenophobic. 14.4 percent are highly xenophobic, the study says. The sentence: "There are too many foreigners in Germany", 29.7 percent of young people unreservedly agreed."

People generally move to the right as they get older ... Then you have the slightly racist. Those with reservations for some types of foreigners only. The well-meaning people bearing "positive" stereotypes.

And that was in 2009 before the refugee "crisis", before austerity took hold, before AFD and Pegida took off.

Studie: Jeder siebte Jugendliche "sehr" ausländerfeindlich - WELT

So when is Germany introducing cop cameras and FOI so that the videos can be released to the public?

What's the real substantive "do" that Germany is "being damned for" :ld: ?

My post was about how some Black Americans are complaining about Germans (and in general non-Americans) showing out to support BLM, the same way they complain when other countries don't show support.
