Not just Germany all those eastern European countries on the boarder of Ukraine about to tool up. I mean if folks know 20th century history it was meant to be or AKA history is repeating itself.

The entire reason Germany became so powerful before WW2 was because of fear that Russia would get too big. So world powers sort of looked the other way with Germany loading up in the 1930s. Cause to them Germany was a buffer country to Russia's power.

But that is also why China became so powerful in the 70s to today. The west used them as a buffer country because they were concerned with how big Russia was getting.

Now in present time Germany has to tool up because they are the only European country on European land that is strong enough to withstand Russia being aggressive (potentially). So if Ukraine falls now its Germany that is now once again the buffer country to a growing and aggressive Russia and would be the only protection European land based wise that Britain and the US has to Russian running rough shot over Europe.

History does indeed repeat itself.

Thats crazy in terms like that but yea makes total sense too they have the most experience actually fighting and inflicting major losses on Russia/USSR. Now the EU goes from being an economic union to a military alliance led by Germany and France in a few short years because of their own belligerence.

Germany conquered Europe pretty easily though, they invaded Russia and made the same mistake Napolean did

Russia did most of the damage to Germany, people forget the US didn't get into the war until the very end of it

The US has never defeated a real military, a sovereign state in real war ever by itself

It was pretty much Japan, Germany, and Italy against the entire world, these are small ass countries, but they have the best engineering even till this day

so they had better tech the entire war, Germany even had Jet Fighters, the first ones ever towards the end of the war

Better tech better planes, better weapons doesn't mean you are going to win

a jet fighter from the 1980s can still shoot down a brand new billion dollar jet fighter lmao
