As far as Im concerned, Zimmerman is already well known and will probably profit off of his "fame" somehow anyway (by movie/book etc). If this boxing thing is going to happen regardless, I don't mind seeing him get his ass beat along the way.
bullshytits interesting that this case is like a reverse OJ where black people enjoyed OJ trolling and the anger of whites and now its kind of the opposite
both situation peoples lives were taken away...and i would make the case that OJ's victims were more victims where I hate to even bring up the topic but its likely that Trayvon was the initial attacker and he had the bad luck of taking it too far on a kid who had a gun and its up in the air and only God and Zimmerman know if Trayvon was a victim or an aggressor
bias on both sides had people picking what they felt who played what role

The problem with that is, too many black people don't respect the loss of black life either. Between the dope dealers, gangsters, those that glorify "dat life" and the rest who are either apathetic or overwhelmed and feel helpless, raising the value of black life just isn't feasable in this day and age. Hasn't been for quite a long time, but what befuddles me is when that will change. It's sad to say but, too many black people in this country don't even respect themselves and lack pride as well as dignity, and this case, DMX IS A PRIME EXAMPLE of a someone with a false sense of pride. Trayvon Martin wasn't a choir boy, but on a night that he was minding his own business he ended up getting profiled, stalked, and after defending himself and his own rights, lost his life in the process. His life was scrutinized, and he was deemed a criminal that the world is better off without, and his killer with a notable history of questionable behavior was free to go because after all, it is one less niqq"er". No great loss.
Now, to add insult to injury, a dustheaded shell of himself black man who only had a false sense of pride even before he was dusted, is going to take the bait to fight the killer of an unarmed teenager in a "celebrity" boxing match. Any black person that participates or supports this "celebrity" boxing match really needs to reexamine themself. Sh!t is just sad and pathetic. I keep hoping someone says that this story is just one massive troll attempt that went too far. Same blacks that participate and support this "celebrity" event would probably watch a Reality Dating TV series featuring Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemmings and probably say to themselves, "they really do seem to be in love."
No way...I feel like regardless of who wins, we all lose. Except for Zimmerman, anyway.
Let's say -
DMX wins: Ok, Zimmerman gets his ass beat in the ring for a couple minutes, then goes home and continues being a celebrity. Is that supposed to somehow make up for Trayvon's death or make his family feel better? Please. And even if DMX wins, Zimmerman is still caking off of the whole situation and gaining fame and popularity.
Zimmerman wins: Racists have a field day, it's "revenge for OJ" for racially resentful people and everybody is embarrassed for DMX. Zimmerman will still cake off of this and become even more of a "Celebrity".
And of course, either way, we all get the added bonus of more racial tension for everybody. Which I'm sure would be good for the country.
Anybody who would feel any degree of satisfaction from Zimmerman losing the fight is ridiculously petty. And let's also keep in mind that DMX is a 43-year-old (recovering?) crack addict, while Zimmerman has supposedly been training for months. It's quite possible that DMX will lose - badly.
The whole thing is .

oj was found innocent. theres no question that zimmerman killed a teenager. and OJ didn't become famous for murdering. He was famous way before. And a crime of passion and a baited crime are two totally different things. So basicaly. you don't get it. Regardless of getting his ass kicked or not, this dude will be able to profit, thus creating a more comfortable lifestyle for him to live.
Dude gets his ass kicked for one day, walks away with 500k+, then breh can be straight and good for a few more years....
The point is to make this guy suffer and live on the edge, every single day of his life.
