I read that book. It's not a level above the book mentioned

Good looks breh, I'll pass on that one. It's been a lot of mass incarceration books coming out lately so gotta weed out the real from the fake. It's become en vogue for white and white-washed black scholars to discuss topics like race & justice so you get some basic ass shyt hyped up as something groundbreaking.

Yall nyggas trash Carmelo every year. He said nothing that was false except maybe the daddy thing..

Carmelo is trash. A star, but not a winner is Carmelo's legacy. He has proved what Karl said with the Knicks as well.
I am not a big Carmelo fan, but Karl is completely wrong here.

He better hope he does not run into Kenyon Martin on the streets. He out of the 3 I believe is the one that would snuff him in public.

That's good for you, but you need to work on your google skills.

NBA's 'no bling' dress code prompts racism accusations

No one made shyt up about Phil. You white dudes just want to rescue heads

I've seen the dress code comments, but where do you see these comments verified at...

"Throughout the years the black players on the Knicks have possessed much better physical ability than the white players, being generally faster and better jumpers. I also think that they have always had superior one-on-one talent."

"White players are more often willing to run patterns and to work collectively."

"Because of the predominance of blacks in pro basketball, the sport is rapidly disintegrating into a one-on-one sport. There are only five or six NBA teams who play with more than a superficial degree of team unity."

On the Knicks: "The starting front court played white basketball while guards played black basketball."

"Black kids growing up want to be the superstar of their neighborhood. They want to be the toughest kids on the block, the richest or, once they get to the playground, the best one-on-one basketball players. White kids, on the other hand, usually are raised in a more homogeneous environment which provides other outlets for personal expression. They're also constantly being taught the principle of subordinating their own personal glory for the good of the group."

"The average player's career is a very short period of his life, and the minute he's through nobody knows who is. Twenty-five years from now the only people who will remember me will be a few trivia experts, and that's exactly how it should be. A lot of black players look at their careers differently. Many blacks have let themselves believe that being in the NBA is one of the greatest things a person can accomplish. I believe this type of feeling is ultimately very destructive, because the only way you can live with it is to get into a heavy fantasy trip. I've seen the process develop many times, and very few players ever find happiness that way."
-Phil Jackson on black vs. white players in NBA

I'm assuming you'll respond with more unwarranted race attacks, because the comments don't don't exist.

I guess real GM making shyt up to.

It's from his book Maverick. It's not an attack to say that you white guys stay protecting racists. It's what you do.

But like your protector for bigot that you are, I expect you to leave as you came, not caring either way

Jason Terry claims George Karl told him he'd 'never make it to the NBA' at age 19

“When I was a sophomore at the University of Arizona, I used to work George Karl’s basketball camp in Seattle. I was at a banquet, George walked up, he approached me, shook my hand and then whispered over to me and said, ‘You’ll never make it to the NBA. You’re never serious. You’re a joke.’ That’s what he told me. Word for word.
“And so I always kept that in the back of my mind, and every time I either faced a George Karl’s team or when I’d see him, I always had a little extra motivation. Yeah, no question. But that’s just George. I mean, if you know George, you know, for better or worse, that’s just him. That’s his personality. And he’s always been like that and I can see why guys had a tough time playing with him or for him.”

this old fart taking more L's than suavehooper :mjlol: terry not only he made it to nba but he also won a championship ring, something that karl never accomplished :russ:
