I was born in the 90s and never saw this also went to alternative schools and never witnessed this, and i was around legit gang members who would hit licks after school, these kids today are coddled little bytches with zero respect.

The only thing different now is events being recorded. To think about it, the only difference would be the active shooters in schools today. The 90s did have a bad gang problem in the crack era but they mainly fought among themselves.

Right. For many of us that started high school in the early 00s, many districts had rolled out 0 tolerance policies due to Columbine and other school shootings from the late 90s.
Kids trying to fight teachers is definitely nothing new, it's just being filmed more consistently now.

But Back then theyd say some vicious shyt to you. Before the 80s theyd hit you. Nuns beat my dads ass for a ruler he still tells the story.
Only spazz outs would do that in 90s/2000s and prolly get beat up by the other kids for hitting the teacher.

I’m was in HS in the 90s and I went to a bad school, didn’t see students fighting teachers as far as I can remember but I saw an administrator get beat up in the hallway and was KO on the ground and ppl started hovering over him screaming “You got knocked the F out!” Mimicking the movie Friday, which was big at the time.
Also a admin got jumped outside that same year by some off campus students he tried to remove from the school grounds

Also, Millennials/Gen X was much more cognizant of shyt following you through life. Mostly, in the context of jail time. But if you came up in certain areas, the idea of filming your crimes/bad behavior/drugs was literally stupid.
