stanley kubrick once said that he never used LSD

he had heard other people talk about it, and talked to them while they were under the influence of it, and he concluded that people who were on LSD were too easily impressed
by sights and sounds that he WEREN'T impressed by while sober

I wouldn't call Mckenna a genius. He had some very interesting ideas but falls more into the crackpot category.

sherlock holmes (cocaina) ?

nah, jokes aside, the conclusion seems to be that very few geniuses were doped up or psychonauts

Can we get a list of certified geniuses?

Steve was definitely not a genius, more of a heartless a$$hole whose personality was that of a sociopath.

McKenna, I wouldn't call a genius either just someone who thinks real different from the social norm.

also druqks can only do so much for you

inuit shamans ("eskimos") used to say that they could go on visionquests and see other worlds, (albeit without the use of ingesting psychedelics) but all these spirit travels and visionquests and shyt and these muhfukkas neva talked about the rest of the world to their fellow inuits

why... because those shamans didn't (couldn't) go to other parts of the earth in their travels... those muhgukkas didn't know about no africans, or no azteks

freud was a heavy cocaine abuser and used it to unlock what he viewed as repressed thought. he used it to an extent that he needed to have nasal surgery performed as the interior of his nose had caved in and blocked his breathing. and paul erdos abused benzedrine and ritalin after the death of his mother and kept using it for the last 25 years of his life to keep doing math. he was unexpectedly killed by a freak heart attack.
