I think that most of those royal families in Europe are related through incest. I think that it goes back to the English Queen Victoria and her husband Christian the IX. At one point or another royal families of Russia, Spain, Germany (Prussia), Norway, Belgium, Greece, Romania, Austria, etc., were related. The English royal family is also related to the former royal family of France, but I am not sure how so there was clearly incest happening long before the lines of Victoria and Christian.
