Where are we going to make up the tax revenue from these proposals?
I don't believe America has a revenue problem.:manny:
I think we have a spending problem.

Theres also probably some truth to MMT theory, and we dont actually need tax revenue to fund much... im less sure on this one though.

All that said, if hes gonna increase the deficit, he should do it by helping hourly workers.

If he cared about hourly workers, they would be advocating for min. wage increases and for killing the sub-minimum wage. Those things would have a more positive impact over "no tax on tips."

Min wage is firmly a state's issue IMO, and he doesnt need to care about hourly workers to sign a bill that benefits them (Think HBCU funding). Also, what value is there in the "what he could have done" approach? he could easily do nothing at all for them...

if trump puts some awful republicans in his cabinet...they're out of politics for good after his term :yeshrug: sounds like a good thing

IF there is another election in 2028 and the Dems win the White House, there will be another insurrection attempt. :snoop:

It would be better if he did nothing then, because this "no tax of tips" shyt is a terrible idea.
