Because the office of the Presidency is an immensely powerful position and I believed she represented the option to do the least harm with that power.why did you find it important to support Kamala Harris?

So why are you chastising us for having the actual capacity (because you can not vote) for trying to stop trump, while allowing the permission structure to entertain those who did not do the same?Because the office of the Presidency is an immensely powerful position and I believed she represented the option to do the least harm with that power.
Oh shyt! Well there go my leftist bonafides, maybe I'm a secret centrist after all
I'm not chastising you for trying to stop Trump. Just the opposite. I'm chastising you for excusing Democrats engaging in behavior that was actually worse than what Trump did, while also excusing their incompetence that led to him being elected again because it tickled your bigot bone.So why are you chastising us for having the actual capacity (because you can not vote) for trying to stop trump, while allowing the permission structure to entertain those who did not do the same?
You made a choice to cosign an idiotic and immoral Democratic campaign strategy that ended in failure. I wouldn't say others were incapable of making that choice, some just chose not to.What choices did we make that others are incapable of making?
Are the only person who makes compromises during elections?I'm not chastising you for trying to stop Trump. Just the opposite. Being called a leftist is more important to you than actually delivering even marginal gains and outcomes.Oh shyt! Well there go my leftist bonafides, maybe I'm a secret centrist after all

I did not. I criticized it at the time and criticize it now.You cosigned the same strategy.
Being called a leftist is more important to you than actually delivering even marginal gains and outcomes.
Again, why were you making strategic alliances that others were not??
I did not. I criticized it at the time and criticize it now.
yo they are destroying him
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Representative Mark Pocan (WI-02) announced plans to introduce the Eliminate Looting of Our Nation by Mitigating Unethical State Kleptocracy (ELON MUSK) Act. The legislation would direct Federal Agencies to terminate any contracts held by a Special Government Employee, similar to bans for Members of Congress and other federal employees.
If a position like a “special government employee” has the authority to recommend spending decisions by agencies, they could clearly steer federal spending to their own self-interest. Like the bans on receiving federal contracts for Members of Congress and many others in the federal government, it is imperative that no “special government employee” should have the opportunity for personal gain, especially in areas where they can direct federal taxpayer funds.
“No one should have the ability to direct funds towards their personal interest if they are working for the federal government. That’s why we don’t allow Members of Congress or many other federal employees to receive federal contracts. The same is even more true with a special government employee with wide authority to direct federal expenses,” said Representative Pocan. “No government employee, ‘Special’ or not, should have any financial interest in who the government does business with. Elon Musk is the poster child for this type of potential abuse. After more than $20 billion in federal contracts, there’s no way Musk can be objective in what he’s doing. Protecting the taxpayers has to be our number one priority.”
Last year, Elon Musk spent more than a quarter of a billion dollars to help elect Donald Trump. Since Election Day, he has become $154 billion richer, a nearly 600x return on his investment. Now, Elon Musk, an unelected billionaire, has taken control of highly sensitive information in the U.S. Treasury Department and has tried to shut down USAID without any federal oversight. Contracts to his business interests by the Federal Government have exceeded $20 billion, with some additional contracts with undisclosed amounts, as in the case of Starlink.
Text of the legislation will be released as soon as possible.
theres no discussion that needs to be hadI love Bernie, but we need to have a discussion on how his supporters turn MAGA overtime.
Elon Musk's Enemy, USAID, Was Investigating Starlink Over Its Contracts in Ukraine
Elon Musk's Enemy, USAID, Was Investigating Starlink's Contracts in Ukraine
The agency was in the midst of a probe into the billionaire's equipment at the time of Musk's assault.t.co
The Lever reported Tuesday that USAID’s inspector general was in the process of investigating its own public-private partnership between Musk’s Starlink and the Ukrainian government at the time that the billionaire’s DOGE crippled the agency. Publicly available information about that probe is still online. An announcement from last May reads: “The USAID Office of Inspector General, Inspections and Evaluations Division, is initiating an inspection of USAID’s oversight of Starlink satellite terminals provided to the Government of Ukraine. Our objectives are to determine how (1) the Government of Ukraine used the USAID-provided Starlink terminals, and (2) USAID monitored the Government of Ukraine’s use of USAID-provided Starlink terminals.”
Musk has called the agency “evil” and a “criminal organization,” though the fact that USAID was investigating his company may suggest ulterior motivations for the billionaire’s vitriol. It’s unclear what the Starlink probe’s status is right now.
