Two thoughts:

1. They made him a meme, but Jimmy McMillan was speaking plain common sense when he said the rent is too damn high. There’s all sorts of reasons people are leaving Cali and NY, but I’d bet the biggest thing by far that drives people out is housing costs.

2. In a better world, the Reapportionment Act of 1929 would be updated to increase the number of members of Congress from 435. The House of Representatives being the same exact size it was before World War I, when the population was less than a third of its current size is crazy.

Apportionment is a BIG issue

Trump about to have the most rejected cabinet nominees in history :laff:

You sure about that? He might lose Lisa McClaskey, Susan Collins, and maybe Thom Thillis on some of these, but he is also adding more of his acolytes to the Senate (Bernie Moreno in Ohio for instance).

With a 53/54 seat majority, this might be more of a tossup that we would've originally thought.

he is not getting at least 3 of those bro. Tulsi is outta there. RFK is DOA. Gaetz might pull his own nomination.
