I wonder if the Cartels will start holding Americans hostage?
I've always heard nice things about Nuevo Laredo
@theworldismine13 hows Tijuana been lately?
It's more that the Mexican government is going to start flexing on the border, to keep up appearances, the narcos who are not playing nice with the government are going to flex too. CDN doesn't have any political pull in Mexico City. Mexico is going to walk a straighter line as long as that tariff threat is there. but a lot of it, like a lot of Mexico, is smoke and mirrors. Big fentanyl seizures are often arranged, people are turned over to change public perception.
They will hit who has the weakest federal government ties first
TJ is a mess, lots of killings, dozens of crews fighting, executions everyday. but that is business as usual. The cars cross, the product crosses.
Because TJ is so close to San Diego, and a lot of other reasons, geographical, they don't do much of the all day style violence. it's more up close and personal. Places like NL are more like wild west.
