I don’t think this is a pressing issue, but it does comfort his base due to their fear of change. Ultimately it makes no difference if it doesn’t impact a declining birth rate.

The real issue is income vs cost of living. Wake me up when he does something about that beyond talking.

Its not just his base though... majority of Americans feel this way.
