Yes people were so appalled by Kamala’s stance on immigration that dumbfukk Americans voted for the more right wing option.

People were turned off by the lack of a real contrast or alternative being presented by the candidate/Party who decided that Trump being so shytty meant they could be lazy in their ideological rigour. When presented with a choice between fascism and fascism lite, people will choose real deal.

Biden kowtowing to the left on the border is what created the wedge issue in the first place.

You're absolutely an conservative; your idea to win back the public is to cosign the rights framing of illegal immigrants by going even harder then trump on immigration law. Like all fascist movements, the point of maga is to place blame on a defined group of people while moving the Overton window to the right. Biden tried to do something about immigration when he couldn’t ignore how bad he was polling anymore. It got sabotaged by Trump cause he acted too late
