As far as the early 2010's I know that when a person applies for a civil servant job in NYC like Sanitation or Parks Department, There are "Do's and Don'ts" papers you have to sign and in one of them, they tell the applicants in orientation that if a male identifies as a woman and goes into the woman's bathroom, then you have to allow it. If you want the job you have to sign the paper that states that and most people don't really think twice about it because they just trying to get a job but signing the paper means that, on paper, you have accepted the a male who identifies as a woman is a woman. I wonder if this statement by Trump is just talk or is it that he's going to change mandates like the ones required when applying for a civil servant job.
