I watching videos of the terrorists today who were in the capitol and they were calling for Pence to be hanged even then, safe to say this will be hanging over him for the rest of his life
That's not the point. I want them to attempt an all-out assault on the White House and see what happens.

I can't help but think that what happened today at the capitol was allowed to happen. I was actually at the 2001 inauguration and there was this huge fear of violent protests at the time... thousands of feds, police, snipers on roofs, helicopters you name it and it was there. I've never seen a police presence like that in my life since even in living NY which is a police state and abroad during the economic crisis protests and increased terrorism.

Anyone that’s lived in this area know all the crazy urban legends about the type of security in downtown at the main points of attack. So to see it go down like this makes me think there was a good amount of cops that were in on this or at least sympathized.

Yeah, it's hypermilitarized, I'm sure some of the rank and file were fine with it but I'm really thinking top down, there were so few cops actually there. It just seems improbable especially because they knew there were protests and what could happen.
