Biden isn’t sharp enough. He need to be hitting back against Trump lies and fact checking trump in real time. This really needs to be blown up. Trump lied about an LEO's support on a national stage. Biden should find a way to bring it back up along with his other lies. His opening statement should be something to the effect of:
"You claimed that Portland's sheriff was a supporter of you. That was a lie, he said he would never support you, ever."
"You claimed our postal workers were selling ballots. That was a lie, it didn't happen."
"You claimed 300,000 military people had died because of lack of VA care. That was a lie, it didn't happen."
"You claimed that you brought back 700,000 manufacturing jobs. That was a lie, it didn't happen."
"You claimed that crime in New York had gone up 200%. That was a lie, it didn't happen."
"If you're willing to lie about our police officers, about our veterans, about our postal workers, about our manufacturing jobs, and about our cities, what won't you lie about? You even lied about my children, my family. The people of this country know that you will just stand up there and lie about anything, that nothing you say can be trusted. When will that change? How will they know that everything that comes out of your mouth this debate isn't another lie?"
[Trump will respond by going on the attack]
"We weren't talking about me, Mr. President, we were talking about you. I just listed 5 obvious lies you made in the last debate and there were dozens more. The sheriff of Portland came right out and called you a liar, said he has never supported you and never will. So why did you lie?"
Unfortunately, someone like Bernie or Warren or Kamala could have done that but Biden ain't that. Since he can't handle in real time, he's just going to have to do it that way.Biden isn’t sharp enough. He need to be hitting back against Trump lies and fact checking trump in real time.
