That ain't even the first time that has happened this year.

A Georgia rep named Trey Kelley had a friend call him after hitting a man earlier this year, failed to notify authorities immediately and as a result the man died in a ditch. He's trying to cover it up with, "I thought maybe he hit a deer or something."

I love how Newsom and some state official tried to preempt him talking about raking the forests by pointing out that the lions share is federal land and how vegetation management isn't going to stop fires alone and Trump pivoted to saying California is getting colder and outright climate change denial.
