Trump’s relationship with his minions follows a similar pattern each time. He lies - of course. The evidence he did is irrefutable. His people then go out on a limb defending him and twisting themselves into knots to justify any bad behavior. Trump then cuts off the limb by admitting to the lie and his people look like even bigger idiots than was previously thought.
