Trump supporters will not acknowledge anything he does wrong. Part of being a Trump supporter is accepting the man for who he is. If you can ever support such a person there's likely almost nothing they can do to turn you against them because you face the worse behavior when presented with such a person up front.
The default move of a Trump supporter is to call whatever unflattering thing that comes out about him fake news. He trained them to do that. Logic is only applied away from Trump's behavior.
