agree. to add to that, children that are the victims of child abuse and neglect often self medicate in adulthood,

struggles that people like Prince dealt with, usually spawned from their formative years. things that happen before 3-4 years old are never the child's fault.

even if they didn't use drugs, they would self medicate in some other way, like with excess food. anything self-destructive that gives a person temporary relief from the pain they are dealing with.

we need to have empathy for people like this, not judgement. how can you blame a child for developing a coping system for abuse?

its ironic that the people that are so judgemental of others, people like Trump and Simmons, are classic sufferers themselves. both have been tied to NPD (narcissistic personality disorder) in the past. a disorder that affects the ability to have empathy, and causes the person to need to feel superior to others.

Yes it should and is for a reason. Stop making excuses for people. I don't give a fukk what neurotransmitters or proteins cause, at the end of the day you have the option to choose. You can avoid all of this by not fukkin with the shyt at all Then you won't ever know if the proteins in your brain are 600% more likely to make you a dope fiend.

Geniuses should self preserve better. I think about Whitney's voice and it really makes me cringe the thought of her drugging. Even Mariah who probably doesn't drug has still fukked with her gift by not taking care like she should. Your voice is an instrument that requires training and upkeep.
