You're still young. I advise you to foster decent relationships with the people around you. Some of them will be acquaintances, a few will be friends. When you can give of yourself and recieve friendship from others you will be more grounded and purposeful in your life.

I actually did have a solid one at one point (I guess I still got connections) but I know deep down they'll be in it for themselves, especially when it gets thick.

As long as it's nothing too shady though, a healthy family will always ride no matter what. Family is far more willing to collaborate rather than compete.

If it wasn't for my friends I would still be a struggling artist. Whenever I have dry spells selling work they donate/loan me money to keep working. They believe in my art. Esp after getting into a museum. Friends are valuable as adults Moreno than when you young on tha cool
