it was done with yougov :manny:
I know. I actually read through the data. :pachaha:

so yougov isnt reputable? so youre denying facts. goofy Elizabeth supporter so its on brand :umad:
Actually I read through it the data suggests that Americans non voters in general felt we should have spent taxpayers dollars on Americans instead of to other countries.

Those same respondents preferred Kamala to Trump on handling the situation 18-16 with 36 percent saying both sides.

Couple that with roughly 61 percent of voters saying it would have made no difference if she broke from Biden, you’re back to what we’ve always said. Particularly evident when those same respondents have a more favorable view of Biden than Kamala.

But to stay on atopic, the poll says 20% of people who didn’t vote did so because of Gaza, but that’s behind the issues we’ve heard and pretty much in line with the narrative we got in nov 2024. Issue by order:

Inflation - 25
Abortion - 22
Climate - 22
Immigration at the border - 21
Gaza - 20

Deficit 19
Democracy 15
Price of goods 14

That said, Joe Biden gave you a ceasefire and the way most of you are carrying on in probably not going to put much thought into the idea that it would have made a sizable affect or I should assume most of the folks are like you, Canadian and can’t vote, single issue Muslim voters, and/or just doing some light trolling.

Either. Way Trump is president. I hope you all got what you wanted :manny:

my point still stands. foreign policy mattered to democrat voters. what kind of strawman shyt are you tryna pull :heh:

biden failed on gaza and handed the election to trump just accept it :manny:

Vice President Kamala Harris won about 75 million votes in the 2024 U.S. presidential election — well below the roughly 81 million that President Joe Biden won in 2020. What accounts for this sizable disparity? In large part, the war in Gaza, according to new polling. Among Biden 2020 voters who did not cast their ballots for Harris, 29% said “ending Israel’s violence in Gaza” was the main factor affecting their vote — making it the most cited issue among several options, according to a poll by YouGov and the Institute for Middle East Understanding (IMEU) Policy Project released Jan. 15.

No, you’re attempting to pull a strawman saying anyone made the stance that American voters don’t care about foreign policy.

What has been said is those issues have been behind issues like inflation, abortion, and the economy which this poll confirms.
biden failed on gaza and handed the election to trump just accept it :manny:
If you read the poll you will see that the overall takeaway is that the segment of voters polled don’t have faith in the government in general. That’s the most consistent data appoint on every single issue.

:pachaha:
It is clear that only one of us actually read the poll.

A group of my tenants voted for Trump. I figured the husband was off the bat because he was mad that he lost last time around but his his views ran a pretty wide gambit but he rightly blamed Republicans for a lot wrong here as well ie Bush/Regan/Nixon. The wife surprised me though and the kids somewhat to a lesser varying degrees. I was floored when they told me their primary rational was cutting/getting rid of payroll taxes(I haven't even seen that promised anywhere) and other economic promises that they hope to see delivered.

Honestly the majority of Muslims I interact with are business owners so it does not surprise me that they're republicans and hold conservative ideals and or would vote for Trump. It's very apparent that they're deep in the Fox/conservative bubble. They're generally very frank with me and I find a lot their views disturbing.

A lot of my acquaintances/friends are immigrants and I tend to weed out the conservative ones whenever possible so it's by no means unique to Arabs or Muslims. I'm guessing it's related to class/profession or is somehow rooted in why they or their parents immigrated. For instance I've know several East Africans who were very dismissive to American concerns about racism and they feel dem/liberal/left concerns are overblown. Not sure what that's about maybe their lack of connection to slavery and American history idk.

Just some anecdotes and thoughts on the weekend going into this next indefinite period of peril that we find ourselves in
