there needs to be a discussion in society about how you can't really talk about being gay without talking about having sex. Gay people aren't gay because they dress different, they are gay because of who they choose to have sex with. So you can't really give gay people shine without promoting sexuality, because sexuality is the only thing that creates the identity in the case of gay people. If you are irish you may have an accent, you might know some gaelic, you might love golf, you probably enjoy beer, you would probably fight anybody even if you got shyt kicked, clovers, fairy's, elves etc. there is tons of culture. If you are gay all you do is have sex with people of the same sex, and basically nothing else special, everything else you do is just you being a human like everybody else and has nothing to do with being gay, so in reality there isn't even anything to represent on a float with, because who you have sex with is irrelevant. So i think that basically until they just stop attention whoring this shyt will never stop. When people see the police float, tons of bells ring, a$$holes, good guys, protectors of the law, donut eaters, clubbing dudes, arresting non whites etc. there is substance there. When you see the gay float people are going to think "sex, ass fukking, dildos" because that's the only thing being gay is about.
