They put the best game on at 5pm because that's when people are eating in front of the TV. By the time it's 8pm and after, people are getting ready for the next day.

Cant put Lakers on at Noon because people in California are still sleeping at this time. They're also awful. They have the biggest fanbase though so the league buries them in the latest slot so they wont get complaints about the most popular team not having a Xmas game

I can't remember the last noon game that was actually a matchup I wanted to see, and the NBA was determined to keep that streak going. I just hope the Lakers game is at least competitive until halftime

i disagree, they're young and just starting to get good. pistons finally have their point in reggie jackson to compliment drummond, who is their emerging superstar. celtics have decent role players and are about to cash in with a good lot of good draft picks from brooklyn for stevens to utilize. orlando has a surplus of young talent that is finally coming into their own and playing to their potential this year. pacers can make any playoffs matchup just with george.
