:wow: These are the prices that would make me reconsider all of my driving habits.

I drive a twenty 20 year old, premium guzzling v8, big body sedan as my daily, plus only run chevron or 76, and still got a lead foot :russ::snoop:

Gas grades are only a 10 cent difference out there? shyt regular is like a dollar cheaper than premium out here.

Even though Teslas are super popular in the bay area, the average mile range of one is 300 miles ( i know theyre improving this to 500+ miles) but if you commute a lot, 300 miles you can go through in a day or two in the bay area alone, I cant even imagine more sprawled out places like Texas... not gonna see me trying to charge my shyt at like 3 am because I decided to go to Oakland then San Francisco then San Jose then back home :francis: im not an electric car hater, they just arent pratical for me.

:dwillhuh: 87 is regular

this how I found out, I commute every day, basically put $20 every day to get around, then the past 2 weeks im like wait :damn: why am i filling up so much this shyt barely lasting a day :damn: and sure enough the prices basically just a whole fukking dollar a gallon over night :damn:
I hate when I look at the gas and say "I'll get some in the morning" then pull up to the same gas station and it's almost $1 higher

The only times I wish I live in France is when unnecessary high prices is tolerated and doesn't ignite protests/boycotts

this doesnt make sense, since we have oil reserves, wouldnt less people driving last year, we would have an abundance of oil so prices should stay of stayed low for another year ?

my commuter is a lexus es350 yeah I think about 400 miles full tank or so. I drive at least a thousand miles a week :ld: gas is instant, charging takes time, so yes its not practical..
sadly, not using oil reserves and not striving to be energy independent using all options avaiable has become a virtuous thing

Every non-EV driver expresses these concerns, I assure you you’re overstating the impact. If it’s longer than a day, chances are you’ll find a place to charge overnight to make this concern moot.

I’ve been driving a Tesla for 6+ years now, I can attest that the convenience of waking up with a “full tank” every day instead of having to stop at a gas station once or twice a week far outweighs the inconvenience of having to use a supercharger (for 30 minutes to an hour) for those few trips a year that I take that exceed the range of my battery.
