I understand but they have used AF in the fight against ISIS. If there are targets which will require specific fighter jets like there has been vs ISIS, they will use AF
It will be difficult to use air support since Russia set up advanced AA missiles on the ground. Plus there is Russian jets in Syrian bases. This quote explains the limitations the AF will have in Syria.

Discounting the ground and political situation for the sake of analysis, Syria’s air defenses provide a case study in the obsolescence of the no-fly zone. By comparison to Kosovo’s 41 1960s-era SAMs, Syria’s robust air defenses total over 130 systems, most which are vastly more lethal than their older counterparts. As many as a dozen encompass the area surrounding Aleppo, the crucible of the civil war. Syria also has over 4,000 air defense artillery pieces and a few thousand portable infrared-guided missile systems.

In the world we live in today, a single system can completely invert this relationship overnight. This was notably seen in the Russian deployment of an S-400 system to Syria. This capability inverts both the risk imposition and the paradigm of power projection, thereby undermining the foundational premise of conventional deterrence (with parallels to the S-300 recently delivered to Iran).

Elaborate. If this war happens, and I can't express how much I don't want it to, Putin's guy Assad will be ousted/killed. What is "up to" that can stop that?
He won't leave his guy hanging for the us. I'm sure he'll come out with some counter intelligence or some other shyt shifting blame to the rebels.

You all are forgetting that Bannon is no longer in "charge" his son-in-law is now...Bannon would have convinced him by now to declare war.
I think Kruschner is more of the Israeli warhawk who wants war with Syria.
So I don't know if Bannon was for it or not, but his Son in law is no better in that regard

Yeah it just depends what he wants to do. There's gonna have to be coordination/cooperation with Russia if it comes down to regime change which it won't. This shyt is a mess

Trump's base is full of people that are as stupid as he is. So all that he has to say is something, something Democrats, something, something Syria, something, something Democrats. His base would not even know what the Hell he was talking about, but since he said Democrats then to those morons in his base that meant that Trump did something good.

The question that I have is what exactly is Rex Tillerson's job? What does he do and where is he at?

In the Silver Lining
Start WWIII over fake allegations.

1) In 2013 Assad gave all his chemical weapons to Russia as was the deal between the U.S., U.N., and others...although he insisted it wasn't his forces and chem attacks continued by the "rebels". [YALL CAN LITERALLY Search Engine "SYRIA GIVES CHEMICAL WEAPONS TO RUSSIA"]

2) Repeat #1, Assad has no chem weapons, because he gave them to Russia.

3) Reiterate #1 and #2, he has no chem weapons, so why is no one mentioning this fact in the MSM, or Trump himself.

4) Why in the hell and what in hell would Assad have to gain from doing a chem attack to his own people, especially since Russia and Syria have been pushing the rebels out almost completely?

5) It appears, Don Cheeto is being manipulated, cause his actions are pretty much the opposite of what he talked about in the election.....matterfact, this is straight out of HillRod's playbook...:francis: :snoop:

6) Public is just in a stupor. Most of Congress are still selling political orifices like backpage sluts. The MSM is a den of deceptive scum.

7) I've seen this movie before. Almost same plot as 2003, when U.N. weapons inspectors went into Iraq to check for those DubyaMDs. They reported emphatically nothing of the sort was there.....regardless of the facts, Iraq was invaded.

8) Remember Wesley Clark's pronouncement of the countries he was told would be invaded. As you can see the political party is irrelevant......

9) Look up "Greater IKhazsrael Plan".

10) :leostare:

Nope. I don't think so. Bannon is a nationalist. He does not give a damn about what is happening in Syria.

EDIT:
U.S. launches air strikes against Assad forces in Syria

(CNN)The United States launched a military strike Thursday on a Syrian government target in retaliation for their chemical weapons attack on civilians earlier in the week.

On President Donald Trump's orders, US warships launched between 50-60 Tomahawk cruise missiles at a Syrian government airbase where the warplanes that carried out the chemical attacks were based, US officials said.

"Tonight, I ordered a targeted military strike on the air field in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched," Trump said during short remarks to reporters at Mar-a-Lago. "It is in this vital national security of the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons."

He added: "There can be no dispute that Syria used banned chemical weapons, violated its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and ignored the urging of the UN Security Council. Years of previous attempts at changing Assad's behavior have all failed and failed very dramatically."

A US defense official said the strike was targeted on runway, aircraft and fuel points. The missiles were launched from warships in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Strikes are over "until another decision is made," the official said.

The strikes are the first direct military action the US has taken against the leadership of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the country's six-year civil war and represent a substantial escalation of the US' military campaign in the region, which could be interpreted by the Syrian government as an act of war.

Trump was very affected by the images of dead children among the civilian casualties in the Syrian chemical weapons attack and felt compelled to act, a senior administration official said.
The US began launching airstrikes in Syria in September 2014 under President Barack Obama as part of its coalition campaign against ISIS, but has only targeted the terrorist group and not Syrian government forces.

Trump met with his national security team before his dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Mar-a-Lago Thursday, where he made the decision to pull the trigger on the biggest military action of his presidency, an administration official says.
He sat through dinner with the President Xi as action was under way.

I don't think him invading Syria would deter them from worshipping him, however, if he completely flipped the switch and started allowing Syrian refugees into the country, they'd be asking for his impeachment.
