I was confident Ainge was reloading for a couple more runs and he's doing the exact right thing. I'm guessing Ray Allen re-signs now and that will get the snowball rolling.

And to the people complaining about the 11 mill a year, which free agent would you rather spend that money on? OJ Mayo? 
Garnett was their most impactful player and has been that since 2008. Every advanced stat points to that and their defense collapse without him on the floor. Y'all complaing about 11 mill a year, you rather them spend 9 mill a year on Haywood? Smh. Some of you are straight up clowns.
As long as Pierce fat ass contract is on the books, this team isn't rebuilding. It's that simple. Ainge did the right thing, especially now that he grabbed an NBA ready PF in the draft who could back-up Garnett which means Bass could be signed-and-traded for value.
