Gangsta NIP is one of those Houston legends that killed every guest feature I ever heard him on, but I never got into his actual discography.

Him and Point Blank (even though dude was really from Chicago).
Give any rapper in Houston a cancer stick with dip on the filter no city in America can touch em on the mic

Those posse cuts on the gb albums were off the head by majority of the artist

It started with this .. 3-2 n Ricky royal/coco Budda/ bun bs ghost writer

Useta go at it

Buns murder flow is Ricky.. he been rappin the same since 86..

Played some of this on the way to work, this is some hard shyt. I've heard of Nip my entire life but never really set down and listened to his stuff (also cause I know him and don't really listen to people's music I personally know), glad I did though. Played some of his first album last night and that has some WILD stuff on it :pachaha:I'll probably listen to a bunch of his albums over the next two weeks, maybe up until Return of the Psychopath. I used to always Psycho Thug and Return of The Psychopath in Soundwaves and promoted in Murder Dog Magazine.

Yea the rest of those are classic Houston slang.

I just never heard anybody say "aggin/agg" until some of my young bros came around. "bro who you know that's rich off Aggin?", "Ol boy caught an agg", etc

It had the same connotation as now? "Aggin" = Robbing?

he fell off after his 3rd album Psychotic Genius. I don't listen to nothing that came out after that.

How long did you know Nip?

Since maybe 06. Used to go to the same barber/beauty shops my mom used to work at. My mom never knew he was a rapper til way after the fact seeing him profiled in some local Houston newspaper, maybe the Houston Press or something. When I mentioned to her how he’s a Houston legend, she was like “You talking about NIP, the DVD man?” :mjlol:. It’s been maybe two years since I’ve really seen him, but I know he’s super heavy into Islam now, even more than he was during his peak rapping years.

Finally listened to this album fully on the way to and on the way from work today. It's good, but I just didn't get the same feeling as I did when I first listened to South Park Psycho. If South Park Psycho is a 10/10, this album is a 7/10. Somebody else in here mentioned Nip changing his flow a bit on here. He does sound a bit different, but I can't really put my finger on it exactly how.
