i saw the trailer & thought it might be alright but when i saw a different one & heard a bit more about it my expectations dropped way down. i'll just wait and download it, not the kind of thing i want to waste money on

The trailer is just abominable, from the misplaced music to the "here's Ryan Gosling being a ladies man". The concept/setting itself has been done to death, which wouldn't be a huge issue if the movie was of high quality, which this one doesn't seem to be.

like i dunno whether it was the script or just how bytch he sounded or a little of both.. but that and a few other scenes with him basically told me it'd be a bunch of cheesy dialogue (which i guess you'd expect) minus the charisma/delivery.

not saying i felt it'd be complete per se, b/c i figured the main storyline, villain and overall violence would prob make this a solid popcorn flick for most people

Also, I found it funny how most of the mainstream commercials were trying hard as fukk to keep the black dude outta sight... But then there was one rendition of it that aired on a tnt thurs night NBA double header weeks ago that tried to show nothing but scenes with the black guy..

haven't seen that version since but shyt had me cracking up like, oh so yall saw what channel it was and tried to put ol boy from back of the bus status to front of the line eh?
