That show is tryna compete with Arrow. If they don't get over 3 million viewers first season average, it'll be cancelled for sure. I won't be watching cause who cares about a Gotham show with no Batman in it.

Who didn't see this coming? The ratings weren't great, it was on Thursdays during the summer and the reviews weren't great. All of that leads to cancellation. No need to worry about Gotham which they are promoting the hell out of and has a nice anticipation building and is a part of their Fall lineup. The beauty of a summer line up is that you just get to try things, throw it against the wall and see if it sticks.

Yea they been promoting Gotham something serious. I'll still wait to see if it gets a second season before I invest any time into it. Also them reviews better be good. I'll never forget what a waste of time it was watching Terra Nova.
I'm going to watch regardless. I love a good cop show and I love the world of Batman so this fits

Let's hope it is. I'm curious as to what the main story will be or if it will just have a villian of the week. It needs to be very dark to work. They better not water it down because it's Fox.
First season, as far as I know, will be about Gordon and Bullock solving the murder of Bruce's parents. And I don't think it'll be watered down breh, Sleepy Hollow has some bat shyt insane stuff on it and can get pretty violent. This is the same channel that used to show the X Files
They already paid for the rights to season 1

I slept on Sleepy Hollow. I need to watch that. Prolly will watch season one in Horror October.
Yeah I'm sure there will be some retconning that will piss some people off but I don't care. It's an adaptation so adapt it. I don't want to see the show if it's going to give me the saaaaame shyt I've seen in cartoons and read in comics and seen in a movie. Put a twist on stuff, give me some surprises
