Even though I didn't know who TD Jakes was back in this time, once I found out who Td Jakes was, I always associated him with these commercials for some reason.
Manually installing Doom with stacks of carefully labelled 1.5mb floppies after downloading it online through a 56k modem and actually getting it to run, is a top 5 gaming experience for me and it's all thanks to this commercial.
