God damn this game went on way too long and had a bunch of narrative stuff I didn't give a shyt about and had a load of boat/submarine shyt taking up way too much time in terms of traversal. But it has an excellent turn-based/job system that makes up for the dragging shyt. Well worth getting on discount if the gameplay looks good to you.
Next up, Tails of Iron 2.

For those who didn't play the first one, Tails of Iron is a 2D side-scroller soulslike. This is similar to the first - same engaging bosses/combat and beautifully drawn environments - but it has a lot of missing QOL stuff (takes too long to get around, too long to fill up your healing potion, hitboxes can be off etc) plus it has a lot of reused enemy attacks. Still a cool indie experience for 5 hours, plus it has Doug Cockle voicing the protag.
Not sure what is up next, maybe Dynasty Warriors.
