I gotta nominate Max Payne 3, I expected it to be decent but to be honest I wasn't anticipating it on the same level as say Uncharted 3, Arkham City, Mass Effect 3. Those were the games I was hype for. Max was just something I would consider checking out if it got over an 8 from IGN. Game really came out of nowhere (cause I didn't care for it) and blew my mind and is arguably better than the 3 games I mentioned. And I'm only talking about the single player
Skyrim gets a nomination also, its my first elder scrolls game and I never really been into any of that nerd/elf/spells/harry potter type shyt in the past. It definitely opened my eyes
Battlefield 3 also since it's my first battlefield game, before that game I was strictly a COD player and avoided any other online FPS. It's definitely the superior game multiplayer wise, Jets nikka!! you can fit like Fifty Call of Duty maps inside just one BF3 map, shyts cray
