This hasn’t happened much now that I’m grown but when I was younger and couldn’t by my own games like that I stayed playing shyt I didn’t really like. Mainly because it was all I had.

mate some of the ones I remember off the top of my head. GTA 4 was prolly the most egregious case of me buying into hype and getting burned. Mainly cuz I bought the game on ps3 and 360 never even beat the shyt.

GTA V SP campaign

I struggled thru to when you first do a trevor mission then I bailed...even tho it’s open world the gameplay is still extremely linear...it was first noticeable to me in san andreas once I got over all the “cool shyt” you can do to kill time and was ready to play the missions...I like games where there’s more than one way to complete a mission/objective or progress thru the storyline...that’s why I love BOTW so much

I’ll fukk you up in GTA online tho...my character is coming out of bad sport next weekend if you feeling froggy...and fukk R* for penalizing me for being nicer than other players...how am I being punished for destroying cats gunning for me in flying cars/bikes w/ rockets and shyt smmfh???

Witcher 3...combat was so trash...I have tried to power through it multiple times but at around the 4 to 6 hour mark I am like "why am i playing this"...

Mass Effect Andromeda...same thing...although the main problem is that I played this fresh off of BOTW...one of the greatest games ever made...so the only thing I kept thinking while playing it was "this isn't BOTW"...
