Dcumentary is a classic, they could've gave that album to Yayo and it still would be

all this shyt about 50 writing is bullshyt to me because he had people ghostrwriting for him back then so it's not really his work either he just wants the credit

it is true How We do and Hate it Or Love It were Game's launching pad and 50 could've just kept them for himself

I would be interested to hear you elaborate on this because 50 Cent is known to be one of the best hook writers during this time, even Game drew light to this during one of his name dropping escapades

Dope album, still listen to it from time to time. They had a special show in LA for it tonight and I am sure he brought out some bigger name guests for it. 10 years later and hes still making rap money so good for him.

A lot of people in here trying to do some revisionist history but hey, Ill let them continue to do them.

I love you, I got you barefooted on glass, chasin' the dove
That monkey on your back, symbolizes my love
Your friends talk bad about me bytch, you sit there and listen to 'em
Over and over you hurt me, my love is unconditional
They talk to you when you up, you down they got nothin' to say
But when you call, I'll come runnin', I'll always take the pain away
They set you up, to let you down, they crowned you prom queen
Fiddle about me behind your back, they call you a fukkin' fiend
Can we just be alone, so I can kiss and hug you
Push me inside you, no other man can loves you like I do
Call me daddy, I'll make you feel good, I mean real good
I found pleasure in pleasin' you, like a real man should
It was written long before, it was carved in a tree
Forever me and you baby we were meant to be
There's more to life than laughter, what brought us together was fate
And we'll be hand in hand, when you walk through those pearly gates
And to see to that, I'ma do whatever it takes

50 Cent, A Baltimore Love Thing, 2005

I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so
I go hard when it's time to play
Shorty get to dropping it low, like the dancers do
in the Go-Go in front of me
She know I like to see her dance, she get to breaking it down
we get the bouncing outta control
Because I got a hell of a flow, we got paper to blow
my whole clique pop bottles galore
It's no secret the hood done peeped it
when we come through son, we look like bread
My '89 grind ,make my old nine shine
like we been moving bricks round this bytch for years
I say I get it in it's because I get it in
now shorty there a eight but her friend near a ten
I feeling a spend my G, she fukk with me I'm in the wind
I'm cooler than her ma then we do this shyt again

50 Cent, I Get It In, 2009

Now you tell me if there isn't a difference in the quality of the lyrics and can you honestly claim the same writer did these?

Game's magnum opus. Top 5 album of the 00's. Classic. Still bump it 'til this day.

This album did not age well

Its still one of games best though

Album sucks and didn't age well at all. And the lyrics are:scust:

"How We Do"

"Fresh like ugghhhh
Impala ughhh"
chrome hydraulics . .
808 druuuuuums
you don't want noooone
better pop that truuuunk"

Documentary is fukking weak! Even back then, I remember hearing "How We Do" on the radio and the moment Game started rapping "Fresh like ughhh", I knew I was in for some garbage. Worst first lines in hip hop history.

Game is one of the worst rappers of the 2000s, hands down. That dude lowered the bar for real. He was HUGE with the wigger crowd.

Back then, I saved the instrumentals only. Because that was the hype: "yo, dude's not the greatest rapper, but these beats are crazy."

I tried to listen to Documentary somewhat recently.... wow were those beats trash. They just aged, and not in a good way. "Hate It or Love It" is always gonna be a phenomenal beat but I can't say much else is saveable.
