most of the people i game with regularly have the same taste in games as i do so we're usually squading up and playing together. i've really only seen a handful of people on here hype a game up to outrageous levels and never play them.it's a damn shame

I think gamefly has a lot to do with it. There's no blockbuster anymore and you'd be hard pressed to find a place to rent. Demos don't drop for every game, and they still don't tell the full story
I used to buy any game that looked interesting. Kinda the same thing with music. Even if you hated the game, you're stuck with it now. You'd learn the ins and outs and play it more often cause it was all u had
These days I find myself renting every game before I think of buying it. Most I can finish in a week or two unless its some long epic game. Most I wouldn't pay 60 or even 40 bucks to keep cause once I beat it, it don't hold up. So now I find myself getting sports titles, sandbox games and fighters. Anything else is a rent. If its that great ill buy it. It usually isnt
I can see why this is a problem with companies too. I can't be the only one. Take batman for instance. I'd have bought every one. But renting them I can not see myself wanting to play it forever. So they get none of my money. But you'd see me talk about it, play it for two weeks, then never see me on it again

actually yeah there is a app that let's you check out friends stats among others things.
i don't have it though because i have a thing called xbox live and also the ability to log on to uplay where i can do the same exact thing.

breh i got the game on day 1 and played it last week. they just released a patch fixing some of things i was talking about and have another one coming out on the same day the artic dlc comes out.
