Shai and JDub lowkey lookin like Gen Z MJ and Pippen.... 3 steals and 2 blocks for Jalen. His defense is nasty. He clamped the fukk out DMitch. OKC might got 4 or 5 players deserve All Defense.... JDub, Dort, Caruso, SGA, Cason.... And they rim protector been out almost all season, Those nikkas ain't even have a big this game :francis:

They lookin like a dynasty and still got picks goin to the 2030 draft :picard: if they don't win a ring it would be a bigger fail than KD/Russ era. They only had like 3 seasons of Harden still comin off bench and OKC never put a deep, athletic, skilled supportin cast round em like this OKC team.

They had Ibaka who was alright but overrated and then just some scraps here and there for years. Perkins was the worst center in the league for years and he was startin for em lol. They was goin toe to toe wit 2016 Warriors ridin wit nikkas like Dion Waiters, Enes Kanter and Randy Foye lol shyt I remember they signed 40 year old Derek Fisher at one point was they startin PG when Russ was injured :deadrose: that whiteboifrom Kansas was they 5th best player for a while. Busts like Hasheem Thabeet bein their best big off the bench.... Perry Jones :dead: lookin at these names dawg the front office failed em bad

Long defenders give him problems

Pause
That's why they need to avoid Boston at all costs.

Boston will go through the motions in the regular season, so I don't even worry about their "struggles"

They can throw at least 4 different players on Mitchell and they will.

I kind of wanna say they need to avoid the Knicks as well

Yeah the Celtics in the playoffs love exploiting matchups and would spam that shyt

The Knicks might be a problem for the Cavs too, I agree. Cavs still have questions of physicality, and the Knicks might still be able to punk them

Yep.

And the game slows down in the playoffs. Not good for a team that can be "out-physicaled"

Yea, the back court is the glaring difference between OKC (healthy) and CLE

Mitchell and Garland are 6'2 and 6'0, which makes them naturally defensive liabilities at their position, and have to out-quick you to get their shots off.

Whereas SGA and JDubb are 6'6, plus defenders, and can methodically out-muscle you offensively to get to their spot. Their front court could be a wash but the backcourt is very advantageous for OKC.

Whether ppl like to admit it or not, size in the backcourt is important.

As great as Iverson was, there was a reason ppl would say the league better be glad he wasn't 6'6".

Another example is the Bulls from 95-98. They were great defensively and having Ron Harper in the backcourt with MJ definitely contributed to that.

+1
Same reason why no matter how much Boston may have regressed this season, they're starting 5 is still built for playoff basketball.

Take Jrue for instance: He's a listed 6'5 guard, making him a matchup nightmare for some one like Garland if the refs allow physical play. But as great defensively as he is, we also saw Jrue get walked-down and bullied by a 6'7 Jimmy Butler in that Bucks/Heat series 2 years ago.

Just can't teach height and the porportional size/strength that comes with it.
