The break may go a full year but definitely not over a year and a half

I'm so conflicted about the book. I really want to read it but I also sort of want to make it through the rest of this series without the main fandom constantly making comparisons to the book. I mean it's already a shytstorm at times, and that's simply with comparing it to 5 and 10 year old books, but it's only so much they can say about a book that hasn't been written yet. Seasons 7 and 8 wouldn't be able to breathe if Winds dropped at any point before they finished airing.

But I wanna read it badly though. :patrice:

I don't know what I want. :mjlol:

I have seperated them in my head and I agree it would be hard to keep doing that if TWOW dropped.

Honestly I want the show to finish and then TWOW to drop a couple months later:yeshrug:

I know the show wont affect my emjoyment of the books, but the books could definitely harm my enjoyment of the show

:yeshrug:

Whats 2 more years:yeshrug:

But George is probably gonna drop TWOW by early next year. All signs point to it.:jbhmm:

Fall 2017 eh, put it on the same time slot as the TWD, have a little Sunday night ratings war :shaq:

Then we can finally see which show is the most popular....
Theres a trend in the film industry since last year to minimise the use of CGI and special effects inorder to increase quality and authentic-ness of scenes. Mad Max changed everything in the film industry. I think people got tired of fake scenes and overly done CGI over the years, and Mad max huge popularity increased the standards on which top films and mini series are made. And Mad Max is more akin to a mini series than a full 24 episode show were quality and high production value isnt a priority. HBO wouldnt want Mad Max to drop in quality like most long TV series, so I think this is wise decision. I just hope the average episode will be atleast 10 minutes longer, since the 7th season will only have 7 episodes.

Before the long Night we may have a LONG SUMMER. Liam Cunningham said he thinks Season 7 of Game of Thrones will premiere in July (It's not locked in stone) but Leftovers ends on June 18th. So that would make sense.

Game of Thrones Season Seven Premiere Date Hinted at by Liam Cunningham! | Watchers on the Wall | A Game of Thrones Community for Breaking News, Casting, and Commentary

“I’ve been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to come out in April. It’s July now, I think. There’s going to be a launch and something special happening this year for the premiere.

Maybe and this is a big maybe. But I have a weird feeling GRRM might be trying to release WINDS OF WINTER in June.
