Littlefinger i doubt, but Varys knows all type of shyt, he's from the free cities so knows how they get down. But the FM is like the illuminati, if you aint in it, you cant do nothing about it.

during a small council meeting when Ned was Hand, assassinating Dany was the topic, someone, cant remember who, maybe Littlefinger, suggested an FM, but it was dismissed as being "too pricey"

In Clash of Kings Tyrion says when he was young he dreamed of being rich enough to hire a FM to merk Cersi.

So I think they are well known of, but with the implied clout that Bravos wields due to their Iron Bank it runs deeper than we know of so far, but if hiring a FM is pricey for even a King then its probley not something available to nearly everybody else.

Gritty as fukk. The main protagonists are a company of soldiers declared renegades by the empire. In the background of it all its a fight between gods and mortals. shyt has assassins, mages, shapechangers, and undead warriors. It's just piff breh, piff:whew: That shyt is called the Book of the Fallen so aint nobody safe. shyt gets ya too cause some of those cats are :lawd:

First law was pretty good, but we talking different level here.

You gon be confused as fukk if you start reading the first book :russ: That nikka throws you in the middle of battle and you dont what the fukk is going on. the beauty of the series is piecing together whats the fukk is going on and how do cats ascend (god-like powers) after you do tho, you in for a ride :dj2:

:russ: That sounds tight as fukk. I'm gonna put in an order for the first two books this Friday. Didn't know the series was ten books deep though and I see they're huge books :whew:

I think the FM are trying to hatch their own dragon. The Citadel is rumored to have lore on dragons hidden away. We also know that Euron contracted the FM to get rid of Balon. We know the FM charge a huge price. Euron mentioned that he found a dragon egg(which is incredibly rare and expensive) and tied to hatch it, but that he later threw it in the sea in a fit of rage. He's probably lying though. Chances are that he used the egg to pay for having Balon killed.

Since the FM are probably aware of Dany and her dragons, my guess is that they are trying to hatch their own dragons as a counter measure.

Yo thats fukkin ILL brv!!

Ive missed the Euron connection to the FM tho fam, enlighten me.

Euron been in Essos for a minute and has amassed a lot of riches (supposedly a dragon's egg amongst other things). The fact that he came back to Pyke so soon after Balon's death (who had exiled him) is too much of a coincidence, and it suggests that he knew some shyt was finna go down. Add to the fact that Balon's death is mysterious as hell ---> Euron hiring a Faceless Man is a real possibilty.

Also peep the Ghost of High Heart's vision : "I dreamt of a man without a face, waiting on a bridge that swayed and swung. On his shoulder perched a drowned crow with seaweed hanging from his wings."

Yeah I'm talking all that shyt but man I don't think I'm ready to have a visual on that massacre.

I think the impact is going to be weaker though since a lot of cool people that were with Robb aren't gonna be there. Like the Umbers (what the hell happened to Greatjon for this season anyway?) and Dacey Mormont. And Raynald Westerling the guy that freed Grey Wind while taking arrows and then jumping into the river. @Piff Perkins Thinks he may be alive :to:

I could be wrong but with these books...if there's no body, I don't believe someone is dead. Same when I heard Davos got his head chopped off I was like "yea right nikkas" :leostare:

FM ain't a secret.
"When the small council discuss the possibility of hiring a Faceless Man to kill Daenerys Targaryen, Petyr Baelish states that the council could hire an army of sellswords for half the price that the Faceless Men would charge for a merchant, and that killing a princess would be far more expensive."

Like I said, Euron hired them to get rid of Balon and he probably paid them with a dragon egg.

We know Balon died while falling off a rope bridge that connected two of Pyke's towers, during a storm. The Faceless Men specialize in murders that seem like accidents. Then Euron shows up exactly a day after Balon died even though he was supposed to be exiled. That's some coincidence.

Then in one of Arya's chapters with the Brotherhood she meets the "Ghost of High Heart", a very old women who has prophetic dreams. She predicted the Red Wedding, Catelyn's ressurection, Renly's assassination, and Arya joining the FM herself.
She says
"I dreamt of a man without a face, waiting on a bridge that swayed and swung. On his shoulder perched a drowned crow with seaweed hanging from his wings."
So a FM did Balon and Euron showed up the next day.:youngsabo:

Then in AFFC Euron tells Victarion that he had a dragon egg and unsuccesfully tried to hatch it.
“I once held a dragon’s egg in this hand, brother. This Myrish wizard swore he could hatch it if I gave him a year and all the gold that he required. When I grew bored with his excuses, I slew him. As he watched his entrails sliding through his fingers he said, ‘But it has not been a year.’” He laughed. “Cragorn’s died, you know.”
“Who?”
“The man who blew my dragon horn. When the maester cut him open, his lungs were charred as black as soot.”
Victarion shuddered. “Show me this dragon’s egg.”
“I threw it in the sea during one of my dark moods.” Euron gave a shrug.
Could be that Euron just made the dragon egg story up, but we know the FM charge huge prices for a kill. That, and the fact that they are anti-Valyrian(peep the story the Kindly Man tells Arya), coupled with the fact that Jaqen is infiltrating the Citadel(where dragon lore is said to be hidden) suggests that he paid them with the egg and they are now looking for info on how to hatch it.

It's not about knowing what's going to happen. I won't even pretend like the Red Wedding or Ned's death didn't catch me by surprise when I read the books, that I somehow saw it coming. Naw, I was just as clueless as everyone else.

It's simply about the lack of understanding of the show on every level. All the discussion in the other thread can be summed up as arguing over which "set" is more badass, which character is the biggest simp, and complaining about being "spoiled".

I taught Ned was a main character along with everybody else when they chopped his head I knew this shyt was serious :whoo: even the red wedding they put so much emphasis on bread and salt custom :wow: the thing I love about this story is that no one knows the ending

Yeah this Talisa shyt has me :wtf:

I see it going one of three ways:

1 - she's actually pregnant and gets murked at the wedding adding a whole nother level of fukked-up shyt to it

2 - she's actually pregnant and Blackfish ends up saving her and fighting his way out of the Twins/diving in the river to escape

3 - she's a spy and this is just further game to throw Robb Stark off the scent of a trap

What do y'all think? :yeshrug:

This is brilliant but I thought a shadow baby got Balon, now I'm pissed I won't be surprised haha.

We already have an idea how dragon eggs are hatched. It could be extreme heat or extreme heat coupled with a sacrifice of someone who practices magic (Mirri Maz Dur was burned on the pyre with the eggs)

no way she's gunna have a baby. either she'll die, have a miscarriage, or she's lying

her having that baby would make that kid the official heir to winterfell.. which would make the tyrion marrying sansa for the claim to WF and ramsey marrying the fake arya for the claim stories obsolete

:ahh:
The scene with Robb and his wifey was a little too obvious. Her telling him "when all this is over let's go to..." was the equivalent of a soldier talking about his family in a war movie. Tuouh had I not read the books my guess would be that Robb's wife would die.

You catch last night as Jamie was leaving the 1st time he said to Roose "Give Robb stark my regards for missing his wedding" :lupe:

Yeah I think they gonna make this one go down exactly how it did in the books

I think I missed that in the book. Are they implying that Roose tell Jaime about his plans with his father or something? I loved how they showed Tywin writing letters, setting those plans in motion. Small details.

In the book the last line Roose says before stabbing Robb in the heart is "Tywin/Jamie (cant remember which) Lannister sends his regards" looks like they're setting it up perfectly
