This is the first I'm hearing. I only heard about the renewal for season 3 right before season 2 began airing.
i knew it was gonna be 4 seasons all along but i didnt want to spoil it

I thought season 2 was overall pretty good, but so many people complained about 'nothing happening' and someone reminded me that a lot of people came to the original GOT late. They were able to binge several seasons at once or came to the show when battles and Dragons became a much bigger part of the show.
