I hate that they are skipping so much time rushing through these plots. That was one thing the original GOT did well. Pacing. You actually saw the kid actors grow up throughout the seasons. I grew attached to them.

Think about it this way. These 7 episodes were a prologue before a prequel series. This was all a bonus setting up the show.

Like imagine if they gave us a few episodes of Cersei/Jamie/Tyrion as kids.. Ned/Robert as teens before GOT S1 episode 1.

In a royal setting though if illegitimacy is found/acknowledged that child is usually stripped from their title or place in the line of succession.

Viserys is ageing like that because of his condition. He's only 5 to 10 years older than Daemon.

That may be but Viserys aging isn't odd, Daemon not aging at all is. Rhaenyra/Alicent are pushing 30 by now so Daemon should be pushing 50. Next episode the kids gonna be 15-23, Aegon gonna be 25+ and Daemon on his Dorian Gray shyt.

The girls and boys have no claim over the dragon they all already have dragons. One of them Baela wants it to be hers but there is no guarantee she will bond with it.
Them even attacking Aemond like that after he's already claimed it shows they meant to take the dragon from him. They wanted him to die

Daemon is 4 years younger than Viserys. So he's only about 39. Otto is only a year older than Viserys at about 45 or 46, and looks way younger than Viserys. Plus they're not going to recast the biggest name on the show.

Youre right but you’re not going to convince any of us with this argument.

We literally saw Rhaenyra ride out on Daemon for stealing a baby egg that technically belonged to no one anymore. And no one defended Daemon with this it’s not bonded to anyone.

There’s some kind of process to bonding that Aemond failed at. The Princess offered to give him a choice of eggs.

So instead of waiting he took his shot which is gangsta but he deserved to get stepped on. He knew the adults wouldn’t allow it so he went behind everyone’s back. Which is literally the phrase, ‘stolen out from under me’ from people following the process.

Targaryens are not immune to fire or dragonfire.

Dany's first time not being burned by fire was a magical event caused by blood magic and the birth of the dragons.

The second time she wasn't burned was a show only creation that didn't have an explanation.

But we've seen Jon and Viserys from Game of Thrones suffer burns, and Laena (who is half Targaryen) burned by dragonfire. Daemon has burn scars on his body and both of his parents and grandparents were Targaryen siblings. Dany herself suffers burns in the books as well.

Game of Thrones deviated from the books to give Daenerys Targaryen a supernatural immunity to fire. Don't count on it extending to the rest of her family.
