Good, there should be no salary cap for baseball. Nobody wants to see no damn Dallas vs Phoenix for the world series.
A Rangers vs Dbacks series wouldn't be that bad if those teams were full of elite players that casuals know of.

Jacob DeGrom is the closest thing to a star on those 2023 WS squads and he was out injured for the whole series :francis:

A Mavs/Suns playoff series would be lit due to KD/Kyrie/Luka/Booker, etc.

MLB gotta find a way for casuals to care about small market teams, I love baseball but the sport needs a way for every team to have notable players like the NBA & NFL does. I cannot name one player on the Tampa Rays and I live in the Tampa Bay area :mjlol: NBA got casuals caring about a team that plays in places like bum booty OKC and San Antonio. Imagine an MLB team in those cities

Only small market MLB team players I can name is Charlie Blackmon on the Rockies and Bobby Witt Jr on the Royals :heh:

BTW Dodgers/Padres might have surpassed Yankees/Red Sox as the most poppin' baseball rivalry :pachaha:

I seen a clip on youtube where the MANAGER Dave Roberts was trying to fight the skipper of the Padres in the middle of a game :laff: :laff:

As someone who hasn't cared about baseball since like 07, this was the first postseason I actually cared about what was going on. Baseball definitely has something going, and I hope they can capitalize and become popular again
