Not surprised by this. It happens in every poor country that has rich tourists coming through..the old people are getting finessed plain and simple. You notice most those nikkas got dreads cause they figured out that's the look these white women are going for. They looking for a black man. It's a fantasy for them. And they are easy pickings.. Have saved up money to spend while they are there and literally paying for everything while spending time with these dudes. Younger tourists are more frugal.
I saw this a lot at the Kenyan coast. Both with men and women. These tourists would even buy houses and the locals would end up staying all year round st the place having a fake relationship with the tourists who maybe come for a few weeks in a year. Receiving western union all through. Then there's the aspect of these old ass people likely to die soon and leave something behind.
