I've heard complaints about the build of Samsung phones and HTC phones but the Evo LTE build is pretty solid. Then again I put my shyt in a platinum case from day one and that shyt is solid. I've dropped it like twice and it shrugged it off. Thankfully it was'nt on the screen side

I don't even want a case, but I do want a soft clip type holster to put on my belt/pocket for it.

Anybody know where I can find a decent one for? I looked on Amazon and they're holster stuff looks kinda suspect for what I"m looking for.

The build for my Nexus One was excellent...I dropped it like 3 or 4x and never had one problem. HTC have made sturdy phones....haven't played with the new stuff though.

Samsung phones are excellent, but I hate how slow they are with updates. HTC has them beat in that department

THIS is what I was talking about. is it them who is slow or is it the provider. It seem's like the international phones stay updated. I have been waiting for my Note to be updated since I had it and it still isn't. talking about coming soon.

And I can't root it for some reason on my mac.

9/10 its the provider. They hold back on the updates because they want people to buy the newest shyt. For instance, they drop the note, which is a dope phone in itself, then a few months later the One X comes out. The average consumer isnt gonna really know what the big diff is(aside from screen size obviously) so they push out a phone that has ICS to get people to buy it

have you had Sprint service? shyt is certified ass cheeks, at least around these parts... I had to get a damn Airave delivered to my crib yesterday because I never get service in my own damn house

Sprint could give me the Evo 4g LTE for free and I still wouldn't sign another 2 year agreement with their sorry ass network, despite the unlimited data... is their LTE even out yet?

thought the One X was the Evo 4G? Or you mean the OLD Evo 4g?

nah man, I wasn't referring to the phones themselves... AT&T's coverage is just much better than Sprint's, so copping the One X variant over the Evo 4G would be a no brainer simply based on the carriers
