Galaxy S3 or the EVO 4G LTE?

Not sure which one of these bad boys to get.

I had the GS2 but I hate touch whiz and to be honest I think the GS3 looks kinda cheap and I hate that it's not available in black. But I have been told it has better specs so


any advice would be appreciated

I was gonna make this thread as well.. currently on Sprint with the evo but looking to switch soon.. all I care about really are removable batteries, upgradeable SD cards and 4g.. data limits aren't an issue for me so right now I'm leaning heavily towards the sIII on verizon.. don't really want to wait for sprint to upgrade their 3g and turn on LTE in my area either, unless the new Evo is head and shoulders above the new Samsung

I got the LTEVO and I'm gonna stick with it. The two phones are pretty much the same anyway except the removable battery.

I have an EVO 4G LTE and love it but best belive it is going back and I am copping the gs3. The developer support for it will be huge with it being on so many carriers and all the same model. Just imagine the accessories and mods it will have. they are very comparable to each other but that is what wins it for me the support .


Note: Samsung isn't good about providing support to there phones though it seems but it may not be them and may be the providers with there bloatware.

But don't get it twisted the EVO ain't no punk either. In fact I think it will come down to your preference on how it looks. And to me EVO looks better. But it is on Sprint so thats an L right there.

The One X Series and specifically the EVO LTE have fantastic build quality and the screen on it is nuts.

I got 3 weeks to make a decision....using my old lady's upgrade on July 1st since I gave her mine when she broke her phone back in April.


When that S3 drop in the states on sprint? If it's not out by then...I might fukk with that Evo LTE

Imo the S3 will be better. Removable battery is huge for me. Also, touch wiz isnt as intuitive as sense is, so its much lighter, but lets not act like we aint rooting our phones to get rid of that shyt anyway. Plus Samsung devices always run AOSP ROMs better
