The whole "toxic masculinity" thing is only adressed at heterosexual men. Meaning all other groups (women, LGBQT, etc) can engage in it and not be called out for it. One of the main things about "toxic masculinity" is how it tells men that they "should" be a certain way. But ironically that's what a whole lot of those other groups do towards us : tell us how we, as heterosexual men, "should" be. According to them. Then you understand that the real issue for those groups is not the fact that we are told how we "should" be, but the fact that that image does not fit in how THEY want us to be.
