Look..... I’m not a black women ( I don’t really care about WW problems), so I not sure how the sexual harassment culture is towards them. So if black women are telling me rape culture is rampant and what Gabby is saying is wrong then alright cool.
But as a black man I do know racism and remember how Gabby white teammates let her get roasted and destroyed by the media. Gabby seems to come from a “bytch please I know the real you” point of view. And this is something you have to respect as well. Gabby seems to carry some resentment towards aly and as a black men we shouldn’t just dismiss this so easily.
It has to be tough to a black woman in America for two reasons.
The moment you don’t go with the white female narrative they will kill you for it. Gabby may have put her race over her womanhood and because we live in this type of society that puts the most privileged group of people ( white women) vs the most maligned group of people ( black women) Gabby has no chance.
Right now we can find out that Aly put a noose in Gabby Douglas locker, called her a nappy headed ho, and say every racial epithet towards Gabby but it wouldn’t matter at all at this point because the white women is so protected by “race” and “ feminism” that it negates everything. It also doesn’t help that Simone took Aly side as well.
This may have the same similarities to Jordan ( the white journalist) and Cam Newton.
Just my opinion.
cause she white let's be real if Aly said this to Gabby yall would be clowning "Sheabutter twitter" and calling it Faux outrage.
