Can one of you dudes say why?

He tries too hard? No he ties harder than your favorite artist and succeeds, gets the most props, everyone has commended his work ethic and his artistic sense.
Dudes vacations is vacations to record music for a couple months, or to be in a factory for a couple months extending his knowledge in fashion and on. There is not a lot of artists doing that shyt. Dude doesn't have a family, the same minimal circle of friends and still grinds the hardest even though he's on top.

You know everyone in G.O.O.D saw this and was like

Clipse latest album had a famous visual artist hook their shyt up as well, Commons latest album had some type of square over a city pimped up to look like some futuristic galaxy, 2 Chainz had 2 chains on his cover.

Besides Big Sean none of these dudes had any ordinary album covers, Q-tip (atcq) is like the originator of those artsy covers.

Even Mos Def's latest cover was

TBH I aint really feeling this cover but to say that the dude is trying too hard is just lazy. He's worked with a certain artist and he came up with this cover, I don't think this cover is meant for the niche on this forum and here's why;

Like it or not it'll be hailed as some sort of masterpiece by every one on the Internet that isn't on this site and the music will appeal to the masses. Hear me when I say the artistic direction on this album WILL be mixed. Just look at the roster that we're dealing with here. You honestly think cats like Mos Def, Common and Q-Tip are gonna be on anything that sounds like Mercy?

It'll have ignorant rap, to hardcore rap, to soulful shyt and beyond.

I think Kanyes marketing is always genius, he always tries hard to appeal to the masses. WTT was a taste of things to come I think it was the prototype to this album personally. Expect the tour to be just as lavish, just as epic and just as $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I'm saying if Kanye came out with a video of a simple reflection effect or if he wore something out of the norm, people would rant about how he tries too hard to be different or artistic. They just refuse to accept anything other than, as I said, "clips of ghetto street corners".
